What Features Do You Want To See In Madden NFL 18: Part One

August is approaching which means the release date of Madden 18 is closer, and we can play Madden 18 in next few months, only about three months left. And we could learn something about Madden 18 from Madden NFL 18 news released these days, and many players expressed their opinions and aspirations, we sorted out 8 most mainstream views, and it will help Madden NFL 18 be the best release in the series.
And today, I will share four of them because of the space in one article, we will introduce from these four parts: Gameplay that’s influenced by weather, Online team play, Involve the legends, and Give us a story worth watching.

Gameplay that’s influenced by weather
Snow and rain have looked pretty in Madden for a while, but that’s as far as their influence extends. You’d have more to think about if a rain-soaked field caused players to slip up more often, and slide further when tackled and tripped or if the snow reduced overall running speed and made the gridiron lines more difficult to see.
Not only would these changes increase the sense of drama, they would also enhance the personality of each arena. If you’re playing as the Green Bay Packers or the Chicago Bears, two teams whose home stadiums regularly see adverse weather, then you’d have plenty of time to adapt and understand the impact from snow and rain.
You could use that understanding to dominate the Miami Dolphins or the Los Angeles Rams in franchise mode, given that they’re from hot climates and not used to extreme conditions.
Online team play
Online team play (referred to as OTP) has not been seen since Madden NFL 14, and it allowed groups of up to three players to take control of a team and face off against another three online. Admittedly, matches were often defined more by the level of chaos they contained than any overwhelmingly skilful play, but they were fun and a distraction from the seriousness elsewhere.
Whilst nothing is confirmed about OTP yet, core details released by EA Sports show that Madden NFL 18 features support for up to six players online. Fingers crossed that this means the return of multiplayer carnage.
Involve the legends
Creating history is what top-level sport is all about, so why not let us experience that history here? We want to play as Jerry Rice, Dan Marino and Joe Montana. We want to play as the Green Bay Packers of Vince Lombardi, the Chicago Bears of Mike Ditka and the St Louis Rams of Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk.
What better way of indulging in common arguments about whether the Patriots of today are better than the 49ers of 1989 than by letting us play that game ourselves?
Give us a story worth watching
As confirmed in the first official teaser trailer, Madden NFL 18 is going to come with a story mode. In all likelihood this will follow a similar pattern to that laid out in FIFA 17′s The Journey, with you taking charge of a young prodigy seeking to make good on their dream of hitting the heights of the sport.
If the quality of dialogue seen in The Journey can be improved, and diversity of action on the field expanded, then we could be getting something that finally makes Madden more relevant to an even larger audience.
A worthwhile story could be enough to tempt those with only a passing interest in the NFL to take a chance on game otherwise seen as too straight-laced and serious to invest time in.
Today we introduced so much, which has your opinion? If you have any new ideas on this, you can leave a message under the article. The next four points I will be in the next article to introduce you, let us wait and see it.
